How to Uninstall K9 Web Filter without an administrator password - K9 Web Filter is a free software internet filter and parental control, and your main goal is to protect children from Internet dangers. It provides tools to allow parents to control unwanted content that children are on the network. If you need to uninstall it and can not remember the password, you can work around the problem.

Instructions

1. Click "Start", the arrow to the right of the "Off" button and click "Restart" to restart the computer. Press and hold the "F8" key during startup to boot into safe mode. Use the arrow keys to select "Safe Mode with Networking" and press "Enter."

2. Click "Start" and "My Computer." Click "Disk Local (C :) "in the hard drive section. Double-click the "Program Files" folder, double-click the "K9" folder and delete the folder contents. Hold down the "Shift" key and click the first file to select all files in directory at once. Click the right mouse button on any file and select "Delete." Click the "X" in the upper right corner of the window to close the "My Computer".

3. Click "Start", type "msconfig" in the search box and press "Enter." Click the "Services" tab and then the "Startup" tab. Uncheck anything related to K9 in the list.

4. Click "Start", the arrow to the right of the shutdown, and then click "Restart" to restart the computer normally.
