3. Make click on the "Send yourself an e-mail password reset" if you provided an account secondary email address when creating your Hotmail account. Access your secondary email account, open the email sent by the credential management Windows Live ID, and click the link in the email message. Then skip to Step 7.

4. Make click on the "Provide account information and answer your secret question" if you did not provide one address secondary email.

5. Make click to select your country from the "Country / Region" drop-down box, select your status in the "Status" drop down box and enter your zip code in the space labeled "Postcode".

6. Write the answer to the secret question in the space labeled "Secret Answer". Make click on the "Continue" button.

7. Enter a new password for the account in the space labeled "New Password". Enter the new password a second time in the space labeled "Retype new password".

8. Make click on the "Continue" button to reset your password. Now you can use your new password to access your Hotmail account.
